Nanoengineering Made Simple

Renolith 2.0 is a nanopolymer admixture for cementitious binders. In chemical terms, it is a colloidal suspension comprising a latex emulsion and stable colloidal dispersion of nanosilica and nanocellulose. It is compatible with ordinary Portland cement and with binder blends containing supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs). It is most often used for creating high-performance bound layers from in-situ soils and/or recycled aggregates in flexible pavement applications.

A substantial body of evidence characterizes the efficacy of Renolith in pavement and concrete nanoengineering applications. However, there are myriad variables and potential applications. Accordingly, we encourage you to test the utility of the product according to your own specific circumstances. We believe you will be amazed at the results.

Frequently Asked Questions

The standard Renolith 2.0 admixture sample is 80g.

The recommended dosage of Renolith 2.0 is 5% w/w binder. So, 80g admixture is enough to treat 1.6kg of cement/binder.

Typical concrete contains 10-15% w/w cement. Typical bound pavement mixes might contain 2-10% w/w cement/binder.

So, 80g of Renolith 2.0 admixture can create anywhere between 10kg (@15% binder) to 80kg (@2% binder) of bound material.
